Nursing in the United States with OGP
If you are a registered nurse, fluent in English, with at least one year’s experience in a hospital-based setting, you are eligible to apply for O’Grady Peyton International’s
USA Nursing Programme. Our top-notch program prepares you for the demands of nursing in the United States.
As an O’Grady Peyton International nurse, you must be prepared to work in a high acuity, fast-paced clinical environment and must meet the following minimum requirements:
Requirements for Nursing in the United States
- Successful completion of a three year (minimum) registered nursing program.
- Be a registered nurse.
- A minimum of one year’s post-graduate hospital-based experience in areas such as intensive care, coronary care, medicine, surgery, emergency room, orthopedics or obstetric nursing.
- Currently working in an acute-care hospital.
- Both theory and clinical rotations during your nursing training in:
- Surgical
- Obstetrics
- Paediatrics
- Psychiatry
- Medical
